Experience and time should know to level 60 quickly in Diablo 3

How do you expect to even have a chance in Nightmare with the items from your first run through of Normal. Normal will be easy so long as you find a decent weapon with enough damage output to defeat the bosses of the acts. Nightmare will present a challenge, but with say half of your items being good midlevel diablo 3 items you'll pass through. But Hell will not be so easy. You'll get crushed without gear.

　　Also basic logic. Inferno will take months to beat. Hell will take weeks for your average player. Average player >> casual player. You can argue some of the top tiered players will be 60 within a week, but ultimately it will depend on their drops and group coordination. I really believe that there will be someone that will stay on and hit 60 in the first 2 to 3 days and there will be a video on youtube showing them doing it, a screenshot and a post to the D3 forums.

　　Don't underestimate the game difficulty, Blizzard hasn't made a 60 hour game.Not really, monster levels will be similar to your character level. The purpose of inferno was a hard difficulty at the end of the game. Hell mode will be hard, but by your definition of farming for weeks to beat hell is a bit silly. I highly doubt hell/nightmare will be gear checks, and even if they are that's where my extra 30 hour estimate comes in. It will probably be 10 hours per difficulty with very little deaths, so thats a 30 hour minimum. 60 hours will include many diablo 3 gold, gear farming, and so on. If it takes more than 60 ill be surprised, inferno is where the real challenge will be, not getting to level 60.

　　I think with the lack of rushing/baaling, etc. The lack of twinked gear since were all starting with nothing.And i'm assuming leveling restrictions (can only get to lvl 30 in normal mode, for example).Therefore you can't get to 60 until you get through most of hell.It now all depends on how the difficulty increase penalties are (for example in D2 NM -> HELL, you needed 75 base res to make it past the den of evil) and what gear drops you get along the way. If a super awesome weapon drops, if could carry you through a difficulty for example.I think with level cap and basic gear requirements we will be unable to buy diablo 3 gold and hit max lvl very easily just because we will be destroyed by the higher difficulties.
